Why were the contacts I just imported not added to my group?

If you have imported contacts and they are not showing in the group, it could be one of three things that caused this.

  1. When a contacts are imported, duplicates are not imported. So if the contacts were already in the Contact Manager, they would not be imported again or added to a different group.
  2. When the contacts were imported, the header of the group column was not matched up with the Contact Type (Group) selection. This means the contacts were imported but were not added a group.
  3. The group name on the excel file did not match the group in the Contact Manager. The group name on the excel file and in the Contact Manager would need to match exactly, including capitals and spaces.
