What is the SendOutCards App sharing option?

The SendOutcards app sharing platform allows you to share the magic of SendOutCards, and allow a user to quickly download the SendOutCard App, send a card, and create a gift account in a few clicks.

How does the app sharing option work?

-Distributors enable the gift account system within their account, to allow gift accounts to be created using points and expense from their account

-From the main page of SendOutCards.com on your computer or within the SendOutCards app, you share a coded link to another user via text message, email or social media.

-When the recipient clicks on the shared link the system will determine the type of device the link is being opened on.

If the shared link is opened on a mobile device: The user will be prompted to download the app. Once downloaded, the app will automatically open and allow the user to send a card and open a gift account coded under the distributor that shared the link.

If the shared link is opened on a non-mobile device: The user will be directed to a web page prompting them to enter their mobile number as seen below.

-Once the user submitsa text message will be sent to the user with a coded link. Once the link is clicked, the user will be prompted to download the app. Once downloaded, the app will automatically open and allow the user to send a card and open a gift account coded under the distributor that shared the link.

-Once the user sends their first card, the gift account is created. If the user chooses to make additional purchases the account would be automatically be upgraded to a customer or distributor account, under the original distributor that shared the app.

Can I see a list of all the active gift accounts created via the App sharing system?

Yes, All gift accounts created via the App sharing system will appear in the distributors, "Active Gift Accounts" contact group within their contact manager. The gift accounts can be managed, just like any other gift account, from the contact manager.

I shared the app, but don't see the gift account in my contact manager. Why is that?

In most cases, this is due to the fact that the recipient of the link did not complete the card sending process and send a card. The gift account WILL NOT be created until the first card has been completed. The first step should be to contact the recipient, to confirm they sent a card.

Can customers share the app?

Yes, any user is able to share the app. Any gift accounts created from customers sharing the app will be coded to the sponsoring distributor of the original customer.
